As a chef's family we know how hard it is to run and keep an establishment going. Maybe others have low expectations and this is OK for them. But we have our own successful establishment and put forth the effort not to make our customers feel like they are not the priority.
I've been waiting for a restaurant like this to enter Dartmouth. Great menu selection. All the bar favorites, great atmosphere. Plenty of room at the tables, I'm 6'3 260lbs and felt very comfortable. Their BBQ is truly fantastic and their chicken wings are very high quality and may be my favorite so far. If ur looking for a great meal with family this is the place, it's also the kinda place u can just grab a drink and a few appetizers with friends
There were 8 of us and we all had something different and everyone's food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable and the amount of food you get is plentiful. There was a line waiting to come in when we arrived and ( thankfully we had reservations ) a line when we left. That's always a good sign. Will definitely be going there again.
Or second visit this past Wednesday was not as positive. We were seated, and then forgotten as the waitresses were all joking around and having fun. We were told someone would be with us as they forgot who took our orders. We told them we had not ordered yet. Once the confusion cleared we ordered apps and just left after that.
I have been here a handful of times and have loved the food and the experience each and every time. As a helpful hint, I would suggest going earlier in the evening around 5 or 5:30 in order to be seated sooner and miss really large crowds and a long wait. But if you have time, it is so worth it. We love going for lunch on the weekends.
I think its best if we not return as it seems that the floor staff needs some training and to be aware that they are front and center and eye view of all customers. So if you want to joke around do it at home and not on the time of the customer. We wish you the best and hope this feedback helps.
Unfortunately we have come twice and not had a positive experience. The waitstaff is great and menu had lots to offer. We did call ahead and had a wait. We waited patiently and had asked why as there where empty tables, and a man in chef attire was a bit abrupt with us and said "A wait is a wait." Once seated the waitress was helpful recommending appetizers for us. But our meal came out over an hour after we ordered it. The serving is just for one and no leftovers was a surprise as a few people in our party left hungry.
Word of advice, never leave tables empty while you make customers wait. I leaves customers thinking why? Have high expectations as your customers do as well.
