Staff lacks personality & you never get the true authentic hibachis experience. Not worth the price for drinks either, you basically pay $10 for a glass of ice. Cleanliness is not good and the waitresses care more about being on cell phones than tending to the guests
The place,waitress and food was awsome. The host on the other hand was not he was more interested with his phone and made me my girl and another couple wait 25 min when there was 4 open tables. Nice just lovely.
This place is absolutely ridiculous! They say that they want to reduce waste, yet they won’t let you bring home a doggy bag! They also clean the ovens with chemicals while you’re sitting right in front of it! Talk about health code violations! This place is also heavily overpriced for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. I found this place to be very dirty compared to other hibachi restaurant. The chef also didn’t do anything special with the food while he was cooking. 1/10, would not come again!
Was there the other day, been a few times great food and awesome atmosphere. One con is you can’t take home food. Other the. That it’s a great place.
I've been to Azuma quite a few times over the years. It's a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the food is usually really good and has a great selection of items. For hibachi it may seem a bit limited but the price is worth it especially with all you can eat lunch specials for 10 dollars. On the other hand, wait staff is usually slow and rude. There have been times they kick people out of the restaurant just because they shut down for lunch or simply don't let you order if you come within an hour of lunch. Also, the hibachi meat leaves a lot to be desired. Often times it is far too dry and tough. Then again, you get what you pay for here. I go with my friends because it is cheap Hibachi food but others may want to steer clear. I do enjoy the gyoza and sushi here though. Very delicious.
